IndyFont 1.1 Sneak Peeks
April 25, 2013 | IndyFont | en | fr
As announced in June 2012, IndyFont is a mind-blowing InDesign script that makes it possible to design and distill pure OpenType fonts from scratch! Theunis de Jong and I put all our energy in having the final release available as soon as possible. Meanwhile, let's watch short sneak previews…
Create a Custom Bullet Font
A very basic usage of IndyFont is to tweak your own bullets, as already demoed by David Blatner at lynda.com. This video shows you how version 1.1. will look like and behave on Mac OS X and InDesign CS4:
Add an Automatic Ligature to your Font
Another great feature is to declare, design, and manage automatic ligatures. Here is a screencast recorded on a Win32 platform with InDesign CS5 installed:

Good day,
I downloaded and installed the IndyFont trial for Mac 10.6.8, CS4.
However, when I try to run the script I get an error message.
I hope you can help me as I would be much interested in your product.
Thank you.
Stephane

Hi Stephane,
Thanks a lot for your bug report. I'm afraid we still have issues with Snow Leopard, indeed :(
Please, can you give a try to HurryCoverTry:

I've good reasons to suspect it won't work either, but it's important to confirm this point.
Also, could you check that Verdana is properly installed on your system, and not corrupted?
Thank you again,
Marc
Good day Marc,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I checked Verdana (installed and not corrupted) and I tried HurryCover.
I got the same error, except for HurryCover the error was on line 48.
Hope this helps.
Stephane
Hi Stephane,
Are you OK to test a very simple jsx script on your platform? Here is the code:
/////////////////////////////////////
var w = new Window('dialog', "Testing");
var b = w.add('button', undefined, "OK");
w.graphics.backgroundColor = null;
w.graphics.foregroundColor = null;
w.show();
/////////////////////////////////////
Good day,

I purchased Indexmatic Pro. Why am I getting OS error -982 when launching the script? I'm on Mac OS X version 10.7.5 using Indesign CS 6.
Hi Toni,
IndexMatic has a dedicated FAQ page. Please, give a look at this answer:
